XML Automata LanguageXAL is the acronym of XML Automata Language. XAL is a programming paradigm with related framework. The aim of XAL is to develop SOA-oriented applications and services and to handle events more productively than other common procedural languages. The heart of the framework is a language based on timed-automata theory.
XAL allows to define an application as a states collection and a transitions set between these states: a transition is perfomed when a particular event arises. Each state has two functions associated: an action one and a metric one. These function can be PHP functions or class method or web services calls. We are a group of people that have teamed up to develop XAL. Between us there are some people who belog to IT industry and others who belong to IT Academic world. Groundbreaking ideas and products have been growing out in ten years of work in IT world. SponsorComputer VAR ITT SRL (VAR Group SPA) and BINT SRL (a Università Politecnica delle Marche spin-off) are the companies which believe in this project. ![]() The growth of network generates richness and innovation for companies
Computer VAR ITT suggest global stategic solution through data transmission network. The aim of this company is to aid other companies development regardless of the their size and their geographical location. XAL is the technology used by Computer VAR ITT in order to develop its strategic services. BINT SRL (Bio-Info-Nano-Tecnologie), an university spin-off founded by STT telecommunications company, Società Trasporto Telematico Spa of Verona, (which was merged by incorporation into Infracom Network Application SPA in 2008) and by Università Politecnica delle Marche with the participation of the following full professors: Paolo Bruni, full professor of Chemistry at College of Engineering, Saverio Cinti, full professor of Anatomy at College of Medicine and Surgery - Istituto Morfologia umana normale - and Gianni Cancellieri, full professor of Telecommunications at College of Engineering. BINT deals with scientific research in the framework of bio-nanotechnology, computer science and telecommunications with a goal of filling the gap between Italian basic research - which is often excellent - and its industrial applications. This lack of application of academic research to the industry world leads Italy to be late compared to other Countries. This is the reason why a lot of researchers go abroad where their researches are applied. The partnership between academic and industry world allows BINT to have strong technological and scientific bases with an industrial approach to the market: this makes sure the company get good returns by research investments in 2010. |
